Although he specialises in wedding photography, James has also worked extensively in the corporate world, advertising, publishing and the media. Portraiture is another specialty. The images of prime ministers and a member of the royal family are part of his portfolio, along with many well known Australian and international celebrities. When actors Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness married, they chose James to photograph their wedding.
